Carl and Richard talk to Michael Feathers about how to bring legacy code (that which has no testing code coverage) into the 21st century.

Michael Feathers

Michael Feathers is a consultant at Object Mentor, and author of the Prentice Hall book 'Working Effectively with Legacy Code.' Michael also wrote CppUnit, the initial C++ port of the JUnit testing framework. A programmer and consultant for 20 years, Michael has worked in biomedical, e-commerce, and a variety of other domains. He continues to speak at various conferences and visit teams around the world to help them get their code under test. When he isn't engaged with a team, he spends most of this time investigating ways of altering design over time in codebases.
