Three Days of Live .NET Rocks! (6/26/2010 - 6/29/2010)

Spend a long weekend interfacing with the .NET Community! Carl and Richard will be broadcasting live conversations with your favorite .NET rock stars 24/7 live from Pwop Studios! Listen to the stream live on your PC or Phone. That's right, we're streaming to your phone, no matter what phone you have (so long as it has Internet access and the ability to play streaming audio).

The Live Weekend starts at 8AM Eastern Saturday, June 26 and ends at Midnight Monday, June 28th, 2010.

What will they be talking about?

Hey, this is .NET Rocks! There will be plenty of brain candy! In addition, Carl and Richard have enlisted some folks from outside the .NET fold to talk about non-Microsoft development technology. During breaks they will play music produced at Pwop Studios and a few Mondays bits. Also, Carl's band, Solvo will play live Monday night from 9:30 to midnight.

Join in the Conversation!

Get some virtual face time with your favorite rock stars without leaving your house. The .NET Dudes will be taking your phone calls (Toll Free: 877-492-6751 or outside the US: 860-447-8832), as well as reading your emails to dotnetrocks@franklins.net and tweets with the hash tag #dnrlive in real-time. Of course, there will be plenty of swag to give away (more on that later).

Music!

In between shows on the hour we are playing an eclectic mix of music recorded at Pwop Studios including 1) As I Roved Out - Traditional Irish song performed by the State Street Saints, 2) Funked Up Brahms - Original arrangement by Solvo of Brahms Hungarian Dances #5, 3) Sacco and Vanzetti - Woody Guthrie song sung by Diarmuid Hanafin and the State Street Saints, 4) Vampires - Orignal song by New London band Chasing Trinity, 5) Drive My Car - Beatles song by Solvo, sung by Carl, 6) Spancil Hill - Traditional Irish song sung by Jim Kelly and the State Street Saints, and 7) Adalai - Original song by Chris Castle.
