What, another mobile panel? Yes - a totally different one. This mobile panel discussion was recorded at the Norwegian Developer Conference. Lots of strong debate about HTML 5 vs. native applications, the power and problems of PhoneGap and how app stores are breaking down. Not to be missed!

Chris Hardy

Chris Hardy, director of Customer Support at Xamarin, recently moved from the UK to Xamarin's Boston office after being one of the first developers to develop for Xamarin.iOS in 2010. Often found at conferences and user groups around the world, Chris also contributed to the xamarin.ios and xamarin.android books from Wrox with wally mclure et al and is excited to see C# on all the mobile devices.

Bruce Lawson

Born into the tech world when he was hastily delivered on a table in the London Science Museum, Bruce evangelises Open Web Standards for Opera. He co-authored Introducing HTML5, the first book on the subject, and was a member of the W3C Mobile Web Best Practices Working Group.

Previously, he's been front-end technical lead for the Law Society and Solicitors Regulation Authority web sites, tutor to a princess' daughter in Thailand, a movie extra in Bombay, and a tarot card reader in Istanbul. He blogs at brucelawson.co.uk, drinks Guinness and is training for a blue belt in kickboxing.

Jonas Folleso

Jonas Folleso is a senior consultant at Capgemini in Trondheim, Norway. He has broad experience and in-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, WPF, Silverlight and the C# programming language. He got a bachelors degree in Informatics from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science.

 

Jonas has worked on several projects using various Microsoft technologies since 2001. Currently he is spending most of his time exploring rich client technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation and Silverlight.

 

Jonas is an active member of and contributor to the .NET developer community. He is an experienced speaker from industry events like TechEd, REMIX and MSDN Live. In 2006 Jonas was nominated Microsoft Regional Director for his contributions and involvement with the Microsoft developer community.

 

When he is not writing code, blogging or preparing for a presentation Jonas enjoys snowboarding, fly fishing and scuba diving.
