Doug Turnure and Johanna White talk about the Ramp Up, an online program that assists users in learning Microsoft technology.
Doug Turnure is a Content Architect with Microsoft Corporation, focusing on developer technologies and improving standards for technical presentations at Microsoft. When not building out content, you may find him playing the role of a developer, author, trainer, and/or occasional conference speaker. His specialties include branding, strategy, technical communication, and leadership, although he still enjoys anything pertaining to .NET. Prior to joining Microsoft, he spent five years as an instructor and course author with DevelopMentor and Aggelos, Inc. Doug is based in Atlanta, GA.

Johanna White is Program Manager of the Microsoft Ramp Up program, a free online learning program for Developers. She started at Microsoft in mid-2007, after graduating from the Kellogg School of Management. Prior to that, Johanna was an IT consultant, first as a developer, and then later as a business analyst. She received her undergraduate degree in computer engineering from Johns Hopkins University. Johanna occasionally visits her friends and family on the US east coast, who still can’t believe she’s moved to Seattle and goes night-snowboarding.
