Michael Feathers talks Legacy Code
Carl and Richard talk to Michael Feathers about how to bring legacy code (that which has no testing code coverage) into the 21st century.
Michael Feathers is a consultant at Object Mentor, and author of the Prentice Hall book 'Working Effectively with Legacy Code.' Michael also wrote CppUnit, the initial C++ port of the JUnit testing framework. A programmer and consultant for 20 years, Michael has worked in biomedical, e-commerce, and a variety of other domains. He continues to speak at various conferences and visit teams around the world to help them get their code under test. When he isn't engaged with a team, he
spends most of this time investigating ways of altering design over time in codebases.
