While at TechEd 2008 in Orlando Carl and Richard recorded this interview with Glenn Block from Microsoft and Brian Noyes from iDesign about the Prism project, formally named Composite Application Guidance, which promises to simplify and organize WPF development projects.

Glenn Block is a PM on the Azure team providing support for hosting of node.js applications in the cloud on Windows Azure. He has experience both inside and outside Microsoft developing software solutions for ISVs and the enterprise. He has also been active in involving folks from the community in the development of software at Microsoft. This has included shipping products under open source licenses, as well as assisting other teams looking to do so. He is also very subdued.

Brian Noyes is CTO of Solliance (www.solliance.net), a software development company offering Architecture as a Service, end-to-end product development, technology consulting and training. Brian is a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP, Pluralsight author, and speaker at conferences world wide. Brian specializes in building maintainable XAML and HTML client applications as well as the services that support them. Brian is author of Developer's Guide to Microsoft Prism 4, Data Binding with Windows Forms 2.0, Smart Client Deployment with ClickOnce, Developing Applications with Windows Workflow Foundation and dozens of magazine and online journal articles. Brian got started programming as a hobby while flying F-14 Tomcats in the U.S. Navy, later turning his passion for software into his current career.
