DotVVM 2.0 with Tomáš Herceg
The new version of DotVMM is imminent! Carl and Richard talk to Tomáš Herceg about his on-going effort to build a great framework for creating web applications and migration paths away from web forms and other web pages bound to the .NET Framework over to .NET Core. Tomáš discusses the new features coming in the latest version and his solutions to various problems around building web pages where the JavaScript is taken care of. And everything is open source - you have the code, modify it as you will! There are commercial versions available as well if you want to support this great set of tools!

Tomáš Herceg is the CEO of Riganti, a small software development company located in Prague, Czech Republic. Tomas is a Microsoft Regional Director, a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, and the author of DotVVM, an open source .NET-based web framework which lets you build Line-of-Business applications easily and without writing thousands lines of Javascript code. Tomas speaks about .NET and web development, software architecture, cloud computing and other topics at technical conferences worldwide. He is co-author of dotNETportal, the biggest Czech website about .NET development, where he has published many articles. Tomas is also co-founder of dotNETcollege, a company which hosts developer trainings and organizes various community events.
