Rob Barker is a Technical Evangelist in the Developer and Platform Evangelism team and is currently focused on promoting the adoption of the Microsoft Office System 2003 as one of Microsoft's premier examples of smart clients. Rob's primary responsibility is to explain how developers, Enterprises and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can leverage Microsoft's investments in Office 2003 such as the native XML standards support in Word, Excel and InfoPath along with enabling development technologies, the Information Bridge Framework and Visual Studio Tools for Office 2003. He was also a frequent speaker at events and conferences along with being a technical reviewer for several book publishers. Rob has been working with Microsoft technologies for over 14 years and before becoming a C# developer in 2000, Rob's languages of choice were Visual Basic and C++.
