Alert listener and iPhone developer Glenn Howes gives us the real story on iPhone development from a different perspective.

Glenn Howes is a Senior Developer at CambridgeSoft, coding the venerable ChemDraw line of structure drawing applications well known to bench chemists everywhere. In his spare time, he writes iPhone applications both for his own company Generally Helpful Software and for others such as BigTinCan.  He has specialized in cross-platform development, Mac and PC, since graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1996 with a Ph.D. in Analytical Science. Along the way, programming in Java, C++, and Objective-C while using such frameworks as the Think Class Library, AWT, MacApp, PowerPlant, MFC, Qt, Cocoa, and Cocoa Touch, and such IDEs as Think C, MPW, CodeWarrior, XCode, and Visual Studio. Sprinkle of Cocoa is is lightly trafficked blog, where he writes about Cocoa programming, gadgets and being a working coder. Glenn choked and lost his one game of Jeopardy! in the spring of 2004.
