Mark has over 20 years of experience in the disciplines of software engineering, database administration, and project management. Software that Mark developed for the radio industry is still in use today. He was a lead developer on the team that created Tapscan, a well-known Arbritron ratings analysis package that has dominated that industry for many years.
Microsoft recently honored Mark by awarding him MVP status for his contributions to the Visual Studio .Net community. Mark also co-founded .Net Rocks, an Internet radio program for .Net developers recognized in over 80 countries and now hosted by Microsoft on the MSDN site.
Mark is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Application Developer, Solution Developer for .Net, and Database Administrator.

 William (Bill) Vaughn is an industry-recognized author, mentor, and subject-matter expert. He’s been in the computer industry for over thirty years - He’s worked with mainframe, minicomputer, and personal computer systems as a developer, manager, trainer, marketer, support person, and writer.
After 14 years at Microsoft, Bill stepped away to work on his new books and training seminars. His area of specialization is focused on data access and especially Visual Basic and SQL Server. He’s written six editions of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to Visual Basic and SQL Server (published by Microsoft Press) and two editions of ADO.NET and ADO Examples and Best Practices for Visual Basic Programmers. There’s even a C# version, ADO.NET Examples and Best Practices for C# Programmers.
Bill is a top-rated speaker and frequents conferences all over the world including VSLive, DevConnections, and PASS (Professional Association for SQL Server). He’s also written a wealth of articles for magazines such as SQL Server Magazine, Visual Basic Programmer’s Journal, .NET Magazine, and many others. Bill is currently working on new content focusing on the .NET Compact Framework and SQL Server CE as well as the next version of SQL Server. He’s available for consulting or custom training.

 Scott Hanselman works for Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager in the Developer Division, aiming to spread good information about developing software, very often on the Microsoft stack. Before this he was the Chief Architect at Corillian Corporation, now a part of Checkfree, for 6+ years. He was also involved in a few Microsoft Developer things for many years like the MVP and RD programs and will speak about computers (and other passions) whenever someone will listen.  Dan Appleman is a well known author, software developer and speaker. He is the founder and CEO of Desaware Inc., a developer of add-on products and components for Microsoft Visual Studio. He is a Microsoft Visual Basic MVP, webmaster of SearchDotNet.com, one of the cofounders of APress publishing, and is the author of numerous books and ebooks including "How Computer Programming Works" and "Always use Protection: A teen's Guide to Safe Computing.

 Patrick Hynds is a Microsoft Regional Director, MCSD, MCSE+I, MCDBA, MCP+Site Builder and MCT, and the Chief Technology Officer for CriticalSites. Named by Microsoft as the Regional Director for Boston, he has been recognized as a leader in the technology field. He is one of the few certified trainers in New England for Site Server. An expert on Microsoft technology and experienced with other technologies as well (Websphere, Sybase, Perl, Java, Unix, Netware, C++, etc.), Patrick previously taught freelance software development and Network Architecture. He has been a successful contractor who enjoyed mastering difficult troubleshooting assignments. A graduate of West Point and a Gulf War veteran, Patrick brings an uncommon level of dedication to his leadership role at CriticalSites. He has experience in addressing business challenges with blended IT solutions involving leading-edge database, web and hardware systems.  Don Kiely, MVP, MCSD, MSDE, is a senior technology consultant specializing in developing desktop and Web applications that integrate databases, Microsoft Office, and related technologies, using tools including SQL Server, Visual Basic, ASP.NET and XML. Don has authored and co-authored several programming books, including Visual Basic Visual Basic 6 Client/Server How-To and Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to the Windows Registry. He writes regularly for many industry journals, including InformationWeek, IEEE Computer magazine, Visual Studio .NET (VBPJ), and many other magazines. Don trains developers and speaks regularly at industry conferences, including TechEd, VSLive!, DevConnections, and others. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Colorado, but fortunately learned the error of his establishment ways.
